Jesus is enough

 

“The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want” - Psalm 23:1

 

Dear kids! Are you happy today? Jesus has given us this beautiful day, so let’s not waste it. Study well when it’s time to study, okay? Now, are you ready for a story?

 

There were two friends named Usha and Nithya who lived on the same street. They had studied together since childhood. Both got good jobs. Usha would always be active and enthusiastic and would be very happy. She would never worry about anything. But Nithya would always have a sad face. Even if she had a good job and money, she could not be happy. Nithya was very surprised to see the happiness on Usha's face. She wanted to know the secret of happiness somehow. What kids? Do you also want to see Usha Akka? Let's go and see.

 

Hai Usha! How are you? asked Nithya and came with a smile. She gave her tea and snacks and treated her very well. Usha, don't you ever worry? Who will look after us when we grow old? Who will help us?

I have faith that Jesus will take care of me no matter what difficulties or losses I face, so I am always happy, she kept looking at Usha without blinking... Nithya said, "I have come to know the secret of your happiness." I understood that life without Jesus is empty, Usha. She left and a smile began to bloom on Nithya's face. She said that she also had faith that Jesus exists. My dear kids, even if there is a lot of money, fame, and comfort in this world, if Jesus is not there, there will be no happiness. Give Jesus first priority and you will receive His blessings and happiness always.
