Searching for the Original...

 

“A faithful man shall abound with blessings;…” - Proverbs 28:20

 

One morning, while I was praying and meditating on the scriptures, God spoke to me. Are you the original or a duplicate? As I was thinking about this, God said to me, "When you were first saved, you ran to serve me regardless of the insults and reproaches you faced because of the love you had for me. But today, you get upset when someone criticizes you. You asked me earlier to give you souls. Today, you pray for many hours for your needs. I am looking for the original Ganesan from before. He said, 'Come to me as the original Ganesan.' That day, I cried and completely dedicated myself to the Lord.

 

Similarly, in the Bible, God sought Adam, whom He had created in His own image and likeness, in the Garden of Eden. The Lord, who was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, sought Adam. Was Adam not in the garden? He was but not the original Adam which God was looking for! Adam who heard the voice of the Lord and came running and walked with Him was not there. Rather, the Adam who sinned and hid from His presence was there. God, who longs for the original, called out: “Adam, where are you?

 

In the same way, on the day God saved us, we sought God's word and His presence, embraced Him, and lived dependent on Him. Our original nature was that we acted for Him without expecting anything because of the love we had for Him. God chose us by looking at that original and showered His love on us immeasurably.

 

Dear beloved, God is still near us today, searching for our original. Are we original? Or are we a duplicate? Let us think about whether we are changing ourselves according to the times and circumstances and living in a way that suits the world and adjusting ourselves. It is very certain that God, who said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you,” will do mighty things with you.
