The Greatness of the Bible

 

"I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word" - Psalm 119:101

 

A French atheist named Ingersoll and his friends were traveling to the eastern countries. They visited the islands of many countries. Under a tree on a small island, a young man was reading the Bible. Ingersoll went to him and said, "Brother, why are you reading an ancient book full of myths and useless things? Throw it away. Read this scientific book that I am giving you. Your knowledge will also grow, and it will be useful for your life." The young man looked at Ingersoll up and down and told him “Are you asking me to throw away this Bible? If this book had not come to us, by now we would have killed, cooked and eaten you all”. The Bible is what transformed cannibals into civilized people.

 

The word of the Bible can transform a person enslaved to injustices such as sin, iniquity, and transgression. The Bible is one of the greatest gifts that God has bestowed upon us. The ancient world was full of adultery, fornication, caste differences, murder, and robbery. It is a fact that all historians agree that the world became civilized through the Christian religion, that is, the valuable missionaries who carried the Bible in their hands. People who were in the darkness of sin saw the true light of Jesus Christ by reading the Bible and were saved.

 

The ideas of the Bible are stated firmly. The Bible is the supreme book that transformed the world. Those who love and read the Bible can live a holy life. God calls everyone who has accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior to read the Word of God, the Bible, with faith and desire every day, and to live a purified life. Yes, the Bible will change our lives, it will be a lamp to our feet, a light to our path, and lead us on the right path. If we know the greatness of the Bible, we cannot stay away from reading the Bible.

 

My dear friends, shall we love, read, breathe, and meditate on the Bible, which contains the words of King Jesus, who rescued you and me from the darkness of sin?
