Be Still

 

"The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace" - Ex. 14:14

 

Once in my life, a problem with a person went on and on. I wanted to end it somehow, so I went to sleep thinking that I would meet the person the next morning, somehow explain my situation to him, and then leave peacefully.

 

While I was sleeping at night, I had a dream. In it, when I tried to clean the grass and plants that had grown to a height in the mud, many pigs and poisonous animals came out of it. Upon seeing it, I was startled and stood back. Then a voice said, "Leave this to me, I will take care of it." I also remained silent. In a short time, the place that was covered in mud, dirt, and weeds was cleaned up and a path was made to walk through it. I felt that the Lord wanted to tell me, “If you fight with that person, many things that you did not expect will happen, so just relax and I will take care of it.” The next morning, I prayed: “Lord, I hand this situation over to You. I will no longer take any effort in my own strength, You will plead for me and fight for me”. To the amazement of everyone, the Lord delivered me from that problem. He helped me to overcome it easily.

 

Dear children of God who are reading this, have you also been disappointed by relying on your own abilities and thinking that I should fix everything in our life, that if I talk, if I try, I can fix it? No, have you grown tired of expecting help from men?

 

Today, commit your worries and circumstances to the Lord. The God who parted the Red Sea will do great things that you do not know or imagine. The God who spoke to Joseph for Mary, the God who spoke to Laban for Jacob, will speak to you today. He will go before you and make the crooked paths straight. The mighty Lord will do awesome things with you. They are not for evil, but for peace. Let us live in the Lord, and our worries and troubles will be over. Amen, Hallelujah.
