Jesus Who Came Searching
"The Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost" - Luke 19:10
Mayy… Mayy…, Do you know where that sound was coming from? From Ramu’s house, which had many sheep. You all get up in the morning and go to school. But Ramu goes to graze the sheep. He is a smart boy, He sits under a tree and graze the sheep and takes care of them carefully. One day, suddenly, it was raining, so he called out to the sheep to take them home. As soon as he heard his voice, all the sheep came. Only one little sheep was playing. Since it started to rain, Ramu quickly drove the sheep away. The little lamb looked for Ramu, but he was nowhere in sight. The lamb looked around and did not know the way. It screamed, "Mayy... Mayy...". Soon it began to get dark. The lamb thought, “When my master called, I didn’t go. I heard his voice, yet I didn’t obey.” While wandering, it got caught in thorn bushes. With the rain and the mud, it couldn’t jump free no matter how hard it tried.
After going home, Ramu started counting the sheep in the stable. He realized that the mischievous little lamb was missing! So, he ran quickly with a torch in his hand in search of the little lamb. Ramu's uncle tried to stop him on the way. His heart was beating fast. He kept on shouting and running. The lamb stuck in the thorns was very happy when he heard Ramu's voice. "Mayy... Mayy..." started shouting again. He heard the sound of evil animals screaming in the distance. As he quickly lifted the lamb, a thorn pricked his hand and caused a wound and blood started to flow. Ramu lovingly stroked the lamb which was sitting on his shoulder. Without looking at the wound on his hand, he walked quickly towards the house, happy to have found the lamb.
Dear little ones! Like that lamb that did not obey the shepherd's voice and was in danger, we also sinned and were in the hands of Satan and suffered, but Jesus came looking for us and suffered many wounds and gave his life to save us. We should never forget this love, kids!
