Freedom

 

"...I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine." - Lev. 20:26

 

Dear friends in Christ, Happy Independence Day to all of you. On this day, may the Lord grant that all the people of our nation enjoy every blessing and every good thing. Today, the tricolour flag is hoisted at many places in our country. Many leaders, including important leaders like the Prime Minister and Chief Minister, and great teachers are celebrating the Independence Day with great celebration by hoisting the national flag. The special feature of our country is that we all come together as people of different religions, races and languages, and find unity in diversity. The saffron colour in our national flag represents sacrifice. The white colour is said to represent purity and the green colour represents prosperity. It is important that every young person understands this deeply

 

We need to sacrifice certain things and worldly pleasures to live a holy life. Only then can we have a prosperous life. To show love to everyone and help everyone, we need a sacrificial mindset. Today, we will thank our Lord for the thousands of soldiers and their families who sacrifice themselves and protect us, because of their sacrifice, we live safely and peacefully. Similarly, when we avoid worldly pleasures and stand for Christ, holiness is preserved. We need sacrifice to live a holy life. Through a life of sacrifice, we receive God's blessings. As a result, we will be like a tree planted by streams of water, bearing fruit in season and remaining green. "This is the will of God, that you should be holy" (1 Thess. 4:3).

 

Today, a youth conference is being held in Trichy in which 1,20,000 youth will participate. Pray that the youth attending this camp will be freed from sin and saved. May there be great joy in heaven through this camp. Also pray that today will be the day that revival begins. May God transform the youth attending this camp into revival warriors! Amen.
