The Lord Who Never Forsakes

 

“When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up” - Psalm 27:10

 

My name is Mariammal. My sister and I were abandoned by our parents because we were born as girls. We lived our days with the help of a few relatives. We faced many hardships at a young age, such as cruelty and poverty in our youth. By the great mercy of the Lord, a missionary brother from the Village Missionary Movement came to our village. It was then that an introduction to the Lord was made in our village. We also came to know Jesus.

 

Through that missionary brother, we came to the Village Missionary Movement and met David Ganesan. He himself took responsibility for us. He protected us like his own children, educated us, met all our needs and raised us with affection. I was suffering from primary complex disease as a child and could not even eat. Everyone prayed for me continuously. By the grace of the Lord, I received complete healing. By His stripes I was healed (Isaiah 53:5). After I finished school, I studied for two years at the Rockland Bible College and for the past six years I have been going to villages and ministering among children and youth. David Daddy and Jeba Mommy led my marriage. Hundreds of believers in Christ came together, and our wedding happened wonderfully. The Lord has given me a blessed married life and a family that loves me. My husband and I are doing the Lord’s service as a family in Mayiladuthurai. To Him be all the praise, honour and glory.

 

Dear brothers and sisters who are reading my testimony! Are you also in a state of abandonment like me? Are you forgotten by your parents and relatives? Do not be discouraged. The Lord has not forgotten you. He will not leave us orphans. Commit your future to Him. He will not only treat you wonderfully but will also transform you into a blessing to others. Amen.
