Don't Forget

 

“Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits” - Psalm 103:2

 

A very rich man named Austin had many friends. While walking on the road, his friends saw a boy picking up plastic items from a garbage dump on the side of the road. They took a photo of him. But Austin took him to his house. On the way, all his friends scolded him, saying, "Give him some money and help him, don't take him with you, it won't be good." But Austin asked him kindly, "What is your name?" The boy hesitated and said, "My name is Kumar, I don't have anyone." "Okay, come, I will take you to the store," he said, and he got a new dress for him and told him to take a bath. Then I will make you study, you can stay at my house without worrying, he treated Kumar with kindness like his younger brother.

 

Kumar started going to school. He studied well, sang songs, participated in many competitions and won prizes. Years passed, and when he finished school and joined college, he made many bad friends. He started smoking cigarettes and bad habits with them. He started forgetting the good things that Austin brother had done. He even started lying to Austin to get money for movies. One day he came home smoking a cigarette. When he saw his brother, he started acting like a good boy. Austin brother, who knew the truth, advised him not to go the wrong way. No matter how much he told him to stay away from bad friends, Kumar did not seem to listen. Who are you to criticize my friends? Kumar asked. Austin brother looked like he was watching something on his cell phone. Kumar asked, “I want a new phone. When Austin handed over the phone, Kumar saw a photo that made him tear up. It was an old picture of him standing near the garbage dump. The memory came rushing back. He remembered how he used to collect trash, how Austin took him in, gave him education, and loved him like a brother. His heart broke, and he started crying. Kumar asked Austin for forgiveness. With great love, Austin hugged him and forgave him

 

Dear little ones! Do you know how many good things JESUS has done for us? Sometimes we forget them, right? That shouldn’t happen, dear kids! Our life, health, strength.. so many blessings! We should always be thankful children to JESUS, okay, kids?
