A Protector Like the Apple of His Eye

 

“He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye” - Deuteronomy 32:10

 

I was born into a family that did not know the Lord, was named Muniyaswamy, and grew up in idol worship. Although everyone in my village believed in Jesus, only my father did not believe in Jesus. When my father died in 1982, my life was ruined. Gambling took up a large part of my life. Gambling always came to my mind. I became addicted to gambling. There would be at least 10 people at the gambling place. Except for me, everyone used beedi, cigarettes, and pan masala. As a result, I inhaled a lot of the smoke from beedi and cigarettes used by others and became ill.

 

On one hand, a chest congestion, and on the other hand, lung damage. Both affected my physical condition greatly. Whenever I coughed and spat, blood clots came out. Seeing this, my relatives and friends started talking that he would die soon. My condition started getting worse day by day. At this time, a Christian friend came to my house to see me. Seeing my condition, he immediately took me to the hospital.

 

Then he brought me to his house. A Christian mother who lived near his house asked about my health and told me about Jesus. He told me this verse that Jesus healed all who came to him, and asked to pray, "Jesus, everyone says that I will die soon. I trust in you, Jesus, help me, I want to live and not die." She said that he would save you from this disease and reveal who he is to thousands of people through you. I asked Jesus in November 1987. From that year until this year 2025, He has been protecting me like the apple of my eye from all the dangers that have come to me. He has also given me the grace to serve as a pastor.

 

My beloved ones! He who has healed me from illness and given me life so far, is able to give you freedom from your terrible illness and glorify Jesus through you. Come to Jesus, be free from all illness and poverty and be blessed. May the Lord Jesus bless you! Amen! Hallelujah!
