He Knew Me

 

“…and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations..." - Jeremiah 1:5

 

My name is Alagarswamy. My father was from a family that did not know Jesus Christ. My mother was a Roman Catholic. We lived in sinful ways and worshipped other gods without any knowledge of Jesus Christ. When I was in ninth grade, my brother David Ganesan came to our village and preached about Jesus. They would conduct Sunday school, and the Lord gave me the grace to attend it. I accepted Jesus through my brother and was baptized. The Lord also gave me the grace to study for a diploma. “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart” according to the verse Jeremiah 29:13.

 

I got a good job. I used to go to ministry with my brother during the holidays. One day the Lord asked me, "Are you going to live for yourself or are you going to serve me?" At that time, I dedicated my life to the full-time ministry of Jesus. I served in Tamil Nadu for two years. One day at 8 am, my brother said to me, "You should go to Andhra Pradesh." The train leaves at ten o'clock.” I immediately obeyed and left. The Lord gave me the grace to learn the language there and serve there. I have been doing the Lord's work in Andhra Pradesh for the past 20 years. There are a total of 86 full-time missionaries and tuition missionaries there. The Lord has given us the grace to run together in the vision that the Lord has given us until today. Pray for me, my family, and the ministry.

 

Beloved! Are you chosen by God? Is the Lord speaking to you as He called me to serve? Obey His word. Only when we obey can we become a blessing to others. When the Lord told Abraham to go to the land that I will show, he obeyed. Without knowing the address, that is, the place where he was going, he obeyed the word of the Lord. As a result, all the peoples of the earth were blessed through him. Obey and receive the highest blessing.
