Amazing God and His Miracles

 

"...by whose stripes ye were healed" - 1 Peter 2:24

 

Sister Ebenezer, who is a minister, came to meet my parents who had been married for more than 12 years and had been childless. She laid her hands on their heads and prayed, saying, "You will have a baby girl in the 10th month." Even though my mother was born into a family that did not know Jesus, she believed, "Jesus will give me a baby." I was born to my parents in the 10th month. My mother told me this and developed her faith.

 

The Lord also revealed important things through visions and dreams. The Lord also said that my marriage was happening according to the will of the Lord. My husband became very sick in the 2nd month of our marriage. He passed blood in his urine. We prayed to the Lord and sought treatment. After a year of treatment with medicine, pills, and injections, he recovered. The Lord himself ordered his recovery. He was happy, saying, "I have recovered well." That happiness did not last long. In October 1981, he suffered from itching. In the evening, his whole body would start to itch and it would become thick and flare up. Despite many treatments, it did not work. Problems followed one after another. Then he got measles, blood started oozing from the blisters. So he became bedridden. We held the Lord's feet and sang praises and hymns.

 

I was advised to go to a Christian doctor's hospital, and I prayed, "Lord, we are going with tears! Help us to return with joy." We informed a pastor of our situation through a letter. He also came and prayed every morning and said, "God has given us life. So do not be afraid, serve in all your free time." God miraculously healed him. Later, while working, we served as development workers for a missionary movement. God has kept us healthy until today.

 

Beloved! Depend on the Lord in your illness and suffering. He is our family physician. He will support us, carry us, and deliver us in our sickbed. Commit yourselves to serving Jesus, the giver of life, as long as you have life. The wonderful God will lead you in miracles.
