Arrows in the Hand of a Strong Man!!

 

"As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth" - Psalm 127:4

 

Currently, the IPL cricket season is going on. In one of these matches, a 14-year-old young cricketer from the Rajasthan Royals team, Vaibhav Suryavamsi, created a world record. That is, he became the first person to be included in the IPL team at the age of 14. And in that particular match, he created a world record by scoring 101 runs in just 38 balls. It is noteworthy that he is a very young player at the age of only 14 years and 23 days. Not only the team members but the entire IPL team and big cricket legends celebrated and praised the young player. He was given a reward and honour by the government of his home state, Bihar. Although Vaibhav played well in the local matches, Rajasthan Royals was praised by all quarters for fielding such a young player, and that too as the team's first player, that is, as an opening batsman.

 

The Holy Bible portrays young people very beautifully. It has been said that children of this age are like arrows in the hand of a mighty man. Therefore, instead of telling them about their failures and making them lose their self-confidence, let it be our job to bring out the good talents within them for Jesus and turn them into arrows in the hand of a mighty man.

 

Beloved! Today, we need leaders who encourage the youth. We need to identify their talents and encourage them accordingly. Because this is not done in the Christian community, today we have given up the talents of many young people for the advancement of many institutions and employers. Therefore, if churches and institutions bring the youth into the right direction, they can become not only arrows in the hands of the mighty but also those who shake the nation for Jesus. Amen!
