There is no difference

 

"For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him" - Romans 10:12

 

A group of evangelists once went to preach the gospel to the African tribes. The people welcomed them and made them sit on a floor smeared with cow dung as per their custom. Since they were illiterate, the educated and high-ranking people who went to preach were thinking, "How can I preach the gospel to these people? They will not understand. How can I tell them so that they understand? Will it be useful to tell them? Or should I just leave them alone?"

 

Then the Lord began to speak to them, saying, "Teach them in simple language and in simple words the same things you preached to the educated people in the cities, about forgiveness of sins, sanctification, and eternal life. I will make some of these tribal people sit on heavenly thrones."

 

My beloved people of God! The Lord Jesus makes no distinction between the poor and the rich, the educated and the uneducated, the Christian and the non-Christian. Jesus loves everyone equally. Jesus Christ, who was born as a human being and lived without sin, wants us humans to live like Him. No matter how lowly we are, Jesus wants to make us sit with kings and princes. No one can stop us when Jesus is ready to make us sit on the throne of heaven, even if we are uneducated people. Jesus said not to hinder those who accept the kingdom of God like a little child. "The kingdom of God belongs to such as these," says Mark 10:14.

 

Therefore, ministers who go out to preach the gospel only to the cities must know how to preach the gospel to the villages, slums, and to the uneducated. Even Paul, the great scholar, was sent to the common people and to the Gentiles. He won thousands and millions for the Lord. May we also proclaim Jesus to everyone!
