Standing Strong

 

"...Dost thou still retain thine integrity?..." - Job 2:9

 

Naveen was born into a family that did not know the Lord, but he accepted the Lord as his personal Savior, and had great faith in God. Being a poor family, even daily needs were very difficult. But because of his faith in God, God did not abandon them and miraculously met their needs every day. Naveen suddenly fell ill and had to go to the hospital one day. When the doctor examined him, it was found that his body organs were affected. He did not have enough money to undergo extensive medical treatment, but because he had faith that God would heal him, he stood firm until the end and received healing from God.

 

We all know a devotee named Job in the Old Testament. He had great financial strength and strong faith in God. One day, he was tested by Satan. Satan tested Job with the permission of the Lord. One day, all of Job's blessings were taken away. His children also died. But Job did not turn away from the Lord. He did not complain about the Lord. Above all, he stood firm in his faith in God. But Job did not know that one day he would receive all the blessings he had lost. Job inherited all the blessings he had lost in double.

 

Dear brothers and sisters! In the Bible, we can see many people who persevered and achieved heavenly blessings and greatness. It is natural for problems and struggles to come in the Christian life. When we ask the Lord for strength to overcome struggles, we can definitely overcome the struggle. On the contrary, if we turn away from God and faith, we cannot live a victorious life. If we stand firm in Christ, we can receive grace and live a fruitful life. Hallelujah!
