A Bear above and a Lion below

"Depart from evil and do good; and dwell for evermore" - Psalm 37:27

Hello little children! Do you like all the animals? Let's see if you can tell the names of the animals in the forest. Lion, tiger, bear, elephant, deer, etc. You have all said it so well. Today we are going to listen to a story about two brothers who hunt all the animals.

Ravi and Raja were two close friends who were excellent hunters. One day, both of them went into the forest to hunt. In their eagerness to hunt animals, both of them got separated. Ravi went far into the forest and started searching for the animals. At that time, he suddenly heard the roar of a lion and turned around. The lion came towards him. Ravi, in fear, ran without looking back, he ran and climbed a tree. The lion also followed him and stood under that tree. Ravi sighed and looked up. There, he saw a bear lying on a strong branch. The lion below and the bear above. Seeing this, Ravi's heart, hands and legs trembled, not knowing what to do.

At that time, the lion looked at the bear and said that these humans are our enemies. So throw him down and we will both share the food. The bear said no, but knowingly or unknowingly, he came to me. He said that he would not harm him. The lion stood under the tree angrily. In a short time, the bear fell asleep. Now the lion looked at Ravi and said, "Hey man, I need meat now. So, throw that sleeping bear down, I will eat it and go away, and you can also go to your home without fear." This was a good idea for Ravi. So, he went to the bear to push it down. By then the bear had woken up. Immediately, the lion said to the bear, "Did you see this? He has shown his intelligence, Why are you still thinking? Don't delay and push him down immediately." But the bear said, “Even if he tried to harm me, I will not betray someone who sought refuge in me." The lion also left. Ravi, who was watching all this, realized his mistake and apologized to the bear and returned home.

Dear brothers and sisters! We should never do evil to others. Jesus will not like that at all. We should also never think of doing evil to those who have done good to us.

- Mrs. Saraal Subhash
