Kindness

 

"Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others" - Philippians 2:4

 

A young man named William Pastrow in Australia was a runner. He was eager to achieve in the field of sports. But his family situation did not allow him to even buy shoes for training. He met many running coaches and asked for help, but no one came forward to help or showed him any kindness. However, he did not give up his efforts and kept meeting coaches and asking for help. Finally, a coach came forward to help him. William participated in the marathon and ran well and won the first prize. He gave the prize he received to the coach who kindly helped him and thanked him.

 

The Lord Jesus Christ showed kindness to many people during his days on earth. He healed many diseases. He made the lame walk. He made the blind see. He healed incurable diseases and performed many miracles and signs. On the days before He was to be crucified, one of the disciples cut off the ear of the servant of the high priest. Then Jesus said, “Stop here,” and touched his ear and healed him. Our hearts should also be filled with compassion like Jesus Christ. From it, love, mercy, compassion, kindness, and compassion will all flow.

 

Dear readers! Doing good to others is the fruit that God expects from us. Jesus walked around doing good during His days on earth. The verse says, “With the measure you measure, it will be measured to you.” Therefore, the more we show kindness to others, the more Jesus will show kindness to us. The salvation we have received is because of His grace. Having received His grace, we should not forget to show kindness to others. Then we will also receive grace from God.
