Strengthen Your Salvation

 

"Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God" - Rev. 3:2

 

Recently I met a young woman I knew. I was very happy. Because all her words were pure and pious. I praised God that she was so sure of the salvation she had received. A few days later, the mother of this child asked me to pray for her child's deliverance. "For the past year, she has not spoken to anyone properly at home, is on the phone all the time, does not pay attention to her studies, threatens her parents, curses them with bad words, blames her parents for everything, hangs out with her friends, does not read the Bible, does not pray. But she is a keyboard player, a guitar player, a choir member - she has no connection with God," she cried, saying many other things. Then I remembered a scripture. "... you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead." Revelation 3:1. She is saved to look at from the outside; a child of God; spiritual; that is, alive. But her inner life is a dead state. There is no spiritual life. This is how thousands of people are in these last days. There is no shortage of worship, dancing, fasting, feasting. On the outside, they look like green trees, but on the inside, they look like lifeless, dry trees.

 

People of God who are reading this! We are caught up in things that are not pleasing to the Lord and have lost our prayer life, and are walking around the church and the office pretending to be pious! The time has come for us to wake up. God warns us to think about how we used to do things as people who were alive in the Lord, to examine in which areas our spiritual life is dead, to stabilize it again, to repair it, to renew it and to repent. Let us remember that we have repented of our sins, cried, and asked God for salvation and received it, and let us wake up to bear fruit befitting repentance by keeping our salvation.

 

God honours those who do not defile (dirt) the garment of salvation and gives them white garments. Their names will not be erased from the book of life. Their names will be declared by Jesus in heaven. If we too can rebuild our lives, we will be found perfect before God. God Bless You!
