Faith being Repaired

 

"By faith Jacob... worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff" - Hebrews 11:21

 

A king needed a prime minister for his palace and searched for the right man for the job. Finally, he found three men and decided to make the wisest of them the prime minister. Accordingly, he made a big lock on a door and fixed it and announced that the first person to open the door would be the prime minister. Accordingly, the three tried to open it. Two of them, using all the calculations they knew, were racking their brains on how to open it. Another was confused about how to break the lock. After a while, the king went and touched the handle of the door. Immediately the door opened. The door was not locked at all.

 

There is a similar incident in the Bible. Jacob had 12 sons. One of them was Joseph. This Joseph was sold by his own brothers. But Jacob did not know this. He thought that his son Joseph would have died or had been torn to pieces by some wild animal. But the Lord tested Jacob’s faith. It was Jacob’s faith that made him see that Joseph was alive and that he was the ruler of all the land of Egypt. Everything was finished, and the Lord repaired Jacob’s faith in a dead situation.

 

Dear readers! Our faith is often repaired by the Lord without us knowing it. But it is good to know only one thing. Being repaired means taking us to the next level in our spiritual life. Even today, God has kept an open door before us. But we have many locks within us like fear, unbelief, ignorance, pride etc. that prevent us from opening it. But we do not know if it is unlocked. If we go and open it with faith, many things like success, good conditions, good opportunities are waiting. Are there locked doors in your life too? Open them with faith.
