Lead me in the way everlasting

 

"And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting" - Psalm 139:24

 

David decided to improve his spiritual life. There is no one like David, a warrior of worship. There is no one like him who kept Lord first. There is no one like him who showed zeal for the name of God. Such a person fell in his spiritual life with Bathsheba. Because of this, he became subject to the wrath of God. The one who fell in sin did not continue to live in sin. He wanted to surrender his life to God and improve it. One of the songs he sang at that time is Psalm 51. We can see his appeal in this. "Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin." He prays.

 

“Cast me not away from thy presence, give me a steadfast spirit, and take not thy Holy Spirit from me; for I have sinned, my salvation is broken. Restore unto me thy salvation; uphold me with thy refreshing Spirit,” he prayed to God to renew his life. Beloved people of God, 12 months have passed in the year 2024! What is the state of your spiritual life? Are there any things that cause pain? David says. Ps. 139:23 “Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my anxious thoughts; and see if there be any bitter way in me." David's desire is to submit his life to God and renew it, so that we can receive God's favor and help.

 

My beloved children of God! Is your life repaired today? Is it still an un-repaired life? May this new year be a year of great change in your life. Surrender your life to God like David and ask God to repair my life and help me live a new life. May the merciful God surely renew your life! Amen! Hallelujah!
