Jesus in the first place

 

"Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his face always" - Ps. 105:4

 

My dear little children! Do you love Jesus more or this world? Do you know how to find out? Oh.... You don't know Ok..Ok..Come on, let's find out through the story.

 

A young man named Eric Liddle, who went to China as a missionary, achieved success after success in the field of sports at a young age. Do you know the reason for this? It was because he gave the Lord first from his childhood. Can you imagine what he did like that? On Sunday, no matter what sports competition or special event was happening at school, he would first give priority to Jesus and go to the church. Eric would think of making Jesus happy rather than worldly work. In 1924, Eric was eagerly awaiting the 100-meter race at the Olympic Games in Paris, France. But a great disappointment awaited him. The race was on a Sunday when he had to go to church. Worldly fame? Or putting God first and obeying Him? There was a struggle in his mind. What would you have done, my dears? Do you know what Eric did? He wanted to please the Lord more than his own happiness. He went to church on Sunday and skipped the race. Everyone made fun of him, and some even advised him that he had missed a good opportunity. Eric was adamant in his decision. The Lord made a new way for brother Eric

 

The next day, God helped him win the gold medal in the 400-meter race and set a world record. Everyone else knew that putting the Lord first had brought such great blessings to Eric’s life.

 

Later, as he served as a full-time missionary for God, many people accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior as he shared his love for Jesus Christ and the victory he had gained by obeying His command.

 

Dearest! Brother Eric, because he put Jesus first, many people were blessed through him. Make a decision to say, "My first priority is Jesus." Great blessings will come to you. Are you ready, cuties?
