Human favor

 

"And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men" - Luke 2:52

 

'Malamoy' who worked as an outstanding missionary in Switzerland for 54 years connected his life with the people. Later he worked in African countries and he was very important among the missionaries. Why is he so important? Because wherever he carries the gospel, he mixes with people. He found dedication and joy in his work. In whatever field he worked, he maintained a good relationship with the humanity. All these things greatly contributed to his evangelistic work. There is another very important reason for this. That is the "favour of man" that he got. He also carried the gospel to many parts of the country with the help of a woman named Dorika in the African country. He also developed good relations with African leaders. He also built a missionary base called 'Bethel Station' there.

 

When Jesus Christ was born and grow up, he was favoured by men. Even as he ministered, Matthew, the eunuch, Simon the Canaanite, and Peter the fisherman all followed him. All these were disciples of Jesus. He went to the houses of the scribes and Pharisees and preached. They were kind enough to invite Jesus into their home. He also preached the gospel in the land of Samaria, which was an abomination to the Jews. They received him with love. Do you have the same temperament to get along with anyone? Do you turn any people you talk to into friends? Do you have many friends? Then it is the Lord who has commanded you this grace. So he will make things happen. Boldly preach the gospel to them. When you get human kindness and sympathy, use it as a God-given opportunity to evangelize.

 

Dear children of God! We too can benefit the people by proclaiming the Gospel with the support of the people in the respective place and with human kindness! Considering the places and cultures of evangelization, with our people As people, let us live and show the love of Christ in word, life and deed and do evangelistic work in the coming days.
