Kneel and pray

 

"…knelt down and prayed with them all" - Acts 20:36

 

A missionary organization sends a missionary to serve a particular town. Enthusiastic, he went and started his ministry there. Months rolled by. No one listened to his teachings. The people were very rude and led a demented life. Even though he preached tirelessly every day, he could not convert even a few people. So, he came to another part of the city, very tired and feeling that all his efforts were in vain. There he saw someone breaking rocks near the road. He was breaking big rocks with a hammer. The minister went to him and asked, Sir, how are you able to break such big hard rocks? For that he had to knee while breaking the hard rock. When we kneel, our strength increases. He said that any hard rock can be broken. The missionary understood in an instant that God was speaking to him through him. He returned home elated. From then on he knelt for hours and prayed and won. Daniel, Elijah, Paul, Esther all prayed and found success.

 

There are many people who overcome by their prayers in the scriptures. Anna fought and prayed for a child with tears in her eyes. She poured out her heart in God's presence. She got the miracle.

 

Beloved of the Lord, is this thing not fulfilled in my life? Are you worried that my life is a continuous failure? Don't worry. Get on your knees and cry out to God. When we get on our knees and pour out our hearts to Him, we can get what we ask for. Our kneeling prayer can accomplish what our wisdom cannot. Kneeling prayer can do miracles, change our weaknesses, and wipe away our tears. So, knowing the secret of victory, we will fight on our knees from today and win.
