They did their best

 

"She has done what she could;…" - Mark 14:8

 

A boy in my relation was physically weak. A short walk will make him feel more tired. Once on the way back from our garden in the village, he was carried by his sister on her back. Seeing that, I took pity on him and came home carrying him on my back. I was a boy then. To this day they have not forgotten the help it has been so many years ago. See, while men remember the help done to them by others without forgetting to thank them, the Lord who created the universe will never forget what we have done for Him! "God is not unrighteous to forget the loving efforts made for His name." (Hebrews 6:10)

 

In the Holy Bible, (in Mark 14) a woman poured precious ointment made of pure nard on the head of Jesus out of love. Then some people grumbled about her. But Jesus said, “She did what she could; In spite of me being buried, she preceded to anoint my body. "He said, "Truly I tell you that wherever this gospel is preached in the world, she did will be remembered , look! We remember that incident that happened that day even today. Yes, the one who promised is unchanging.

 

 The widow of Zarephath who gave a small piece of bread to the prophet Elijah, the little girl who told the Naaman to go to the prophet Elisha to cure, the king of Syria's army chief, the poor widow who gave all she had as an offering of two coins, the men alone ate about 5000 people and took 12 baskets from five loaves and two fish. Let's keep stacking it up as that boy who was given into Jesus' arms. All of them gave what they could out of love for the Lord. They are still talked about today.

 

Why don't you who are reading and listening to this give your time, money, material and physical labour for the Lord? Help the needy ministries, missionary institutions and the poor and needy. Tell others about God's love. 1Corinthians 15 : 58 Knowing that your labour in the Lord is not without reward, you will be firm, immovable, and always abounding in the work of the Lord. They did what they could for Jesus; They are still talked about today. Let's think about what we are doing today for Jesus! Let's act.
