Love that brings change

 

"He who does not love does not know God; God is love" - 1 John 4:8

 

A servant of God named Robert Moffat went as a missionary to Autenburt, Africa. In Autenburt, there was a big rowdy named Afrikaner. He committed many murders and challenged the government. It was announced by the government that a reward of one thousand dollars would be given to those who would bring Afrikaner head. Many people went alone and in groups because of the government's announcement of the reward amount. But unable to kill the Afrikaner, many of those died.

 

Robert Moffat planned to somehow proclaim the love of Christ to the Afrikaner and lead him to Christianity. He identified 100 of the children near where the Afrikaner was and prepared a place for them. He used to clean and beautify those children who had rashes, scabies and uncleanness and gave them everything they needed. Afrikaner who looked at his actions realized that his love for the children of our race was great. He accepted Jesus saying that he will also worship the God he worships. Aware of the change of heart of the elusive Afrikaner, the government granted him amnesty.

 

Moffat's early ministry was among young children. Jesus also told Simon Peter shepherd my lambs. Robert Moffat caught the big fish, the Afrikaner, through child ministry, as one catches a big fish with a small fish. Isn't it more certain that we will see great results when we also focus on children in our ministry?

 

My people, we shall also take the love of Jesus to the world somehow. If our hearts are filled with God's love, we can give it to others. May we bear witness to Him as conquerors of the world through love. May we receive God's blessings. Hallelujah Amen.
