"…Go home to your friends and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you" - Mark 5:19
A police officer found a copy of the Gospel "The Lost Child". It contained the wonderful news that God had given His only begotten Son to the world. He sneered at it and squeezed it as usual and threw it in the wastebasket. That evening he was playing with her one-and-a-half-year-old child on the second floor of their house. Standing at the corner of the floor, the child in his arms suddenly jumped. It somehow slipped from his tight grip and started falling down. Immediately he also jumped down. The child was easily caught because of his police training. He laid himself down and saved his child. The child was rescued unharmed. But he suffered a fracture in his left arm and leg and was hospitalized. That evening some sisters came to minister at the hospital. They put the same copy of "The Lost Child" in the officer's hand and evangelized. Now he could realize the truth of this manuscript. When I, the wicked one, do this for my child, he thought to himself that it is a sure truth that the holy God came to this earth as a man and gave his life for us sinners. He was saved that day.
In the New Testament we know of a man possessed by an unclean spirit in the Gospel book of Mark. No one could contain him. After he bowed Jesus, Jesus healed the man with an unclean spirit. Jesus said to him, go home to your people and tell them all what the Lord has done for you.
My beloved ones! Like this man with an unclean spirit, we were living every day in some kind of sickness, or far from Jesus, or without Jesus. But we came to know Jesus through someone. Because they preached Jesus to us. The police officer was saved as a result of repeated evangelism. The Lord continues to bless and change our lives for greater good. Is it not our duty to evangelize those who do not know him? Will we evangelize the joy we have received? Warrior! Let's evangelize. Let's make everyone a heavenly citizen!
