Test

 

"Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord…" - Jeremiah 17:7

 

Rajan had the reputation of being the best runner in the school. He got many prizes to the school. In the same school, a new student named Peter joined. Peter will go through any competition on his knees and pray and win first prize. Rajan lost to Peter twice. Angered, Rajan shouted, "This time the trophy is mine." Rajan was the first to run on the day of the match. But Rajan was shocked when Peter was announced as the first prize winner in the competition. The reason was that Rajan, who changed from the second track marked for him, ran on the fourth track and cheated to win, ended up bowing his head down in shame.

 

Even in the scriptures, Abraham went to Egypt and underwent many trials because he did not believe that God, who had brought him to the prosperous land of Canaan, would surely feed him during the famine. Similarly, before Moses brought millions of people out of Egypt and entered Canaan, he forgot God's command to look at the rock and speak, and hit the rock as he had done before. Although the water came from the rock, he could not inherit Canaan because of his carelessness.

 

Nor should we try to live according to our thoughts. Jesus did not judge by what his eyes saw and judge by what his ears heard. (Isaiah 11:3) Let us also trust in the Lord and not in our own thoughts when trials come. He himself will make a gradual escape into the probationary period. God will also give you victory over the test. He will bestow a hundred blessings in this life and inherit the great Canaan in the Hereafter.
