Unfathomable Love

"By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us;.." – 1 John 3:16

Dear children! Are you all ready for Christmas? Santa Claus, you must be so busy decorating the house and the outside house... O.K. Why did Jesus come to earth... because he loved us.... Shall we hear a story about that? Vicky is a very stubborn boy. He never listens to what his father and mother say. Hitting and kicking are all Vicky's skills. You are all not like that. Very good. Oh... Are they like that in your class? Well, pray for them.

Vicky gets into a fight and gets beaten up by the teacher. He is very dull in studies. In class, everyone would be afraid to sit next to him. This was very sad for his parents. When would Vicky change… They thought he would change if he went to Sunday class, he would be a fool there too. He would not pay attention to anything. He would buy and eat chocolate and throw away the paper. He would be a headache for the people who were conducting Sunday class. They also taught him patiently without scolding or hitting him. Vicky really likes watching movies. One day, a scene of the crucifixion of Jesus was shown in Sunday school. Vicky's eyes were filled with tears as he watched it intently. He did not say a single word against those who were persecuting him. He was not angry with them. Vicky, who thought that he was praying to forgive those who had hurt him, changed his mind. In a few days, his character changed.

Vicky, who had tasted the love of Jesus, started telling others. His friends teased him that the prankster Vicky had become the silent Vicky. Oh, what did Jesus give you? “Jesus gave me love to forgive you for making fun of me,” said Vicky. Unexpectedly, his friends saw Vicky’s miraculous transformation and put their faith in Jesus. They all went to Sunday school together, enthusiastically participated in the X-mas program, and celebrated a meaningful X-mas, making Jesus happy.

Dear brother and sister! If you use the weapon of love to love your enemies, you will definitely win. When we were sinners, Jesus Christ was born as a baby because He loved us. Filled with that immeasurable love, shall we celebrate “X-mas?” Happy, happy Christmas, my little children!
