Knee Warrior

"…Strengthen the weak hands, And make firm the feeble knees" - Isaiah 35:3

There are many holy men of God in the history of the American Church. Among them was John Hyde, a prayer warrior. His prayer room was his place of residence. There he rejoiced with the Lord, there he wept and wept, there he grew. Many have heard the cries he cried in the prayer room for the distressed sinners. He knew how to pray with unutterable sighs. Once, when he woke up after kneeling to pray, 36 hours had passed. His legs looked like camel's legs from kneeling and praying. The knees of his clothes were worn and torn. This knee warrior had lived in our India for 17 years. I believe that today's church is built on the prayer of tears that he shed for us.

In the Bible, we read in Lamentations 2 that the prophet Jeremiah, who wept for the people, lamented, "My eyes run down with tears, my bowels boil because of the destruction of the daughter of my people." Yes, the prayer of a prayer warrior who feels sorry for the condition of the people who are imprisoned in sin will be a lament. They will not want to give their knees and eyes rest.

Beloved! How is your prayer life? Do you have the habit of praying on your knees? The feet of a person who works tirelessly are full of cracks. The hands of those who work with hard tools are covered with scabs. Similarly, the knees of people who pray a lot are sore. If our knees are hard, our hearts will be soft; If our knees are soft, our hearts will be hard. Look at your knees today. You will know the condition of the heart. The reason for all the problems in the heart is the soft knees. So, harden the knees, and you will see the end of the struggles of sin and various problems.
