Two Houses

"…But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves" - James 1:22

When you see beautiful natural scenery that catches the eye, your heart is very happy, little ones... Green meadows, beautiful streams between high mountains are wonderful to see. Wherever Jesus went when he lived on this earth, crowds of people would come. This month is month of Christmas, which celebrates the birth of King Jesus, coming. Is that right, little ones, are you all celebrating? Super. shall we listen to a parable told by Jesus ? A parable is to say something in simple way that everyone can understand.

I think you are very eager to hear what Jesus said. Once upon a time, two people who lived in the same village wanted to build a new house. One man said, "I am going to build a house on a rock." He thought that it would be strong and safe, and dug the rock and built a very beautiful house. Another man said, "I am not going to break the rock like you and build a house. I am going to build it on sand." He thought that it would be easy and quick to build, and he built a super house on sand. Both of them lived very happily. Suddenly, one day, rain came, the wind blew hard, and a big flood came and hit them. The house built on the rock stood still. But the house built on the sand started to shake. When the flood eroded the sand, the house started to crumble little by little. Oh, what will I do? I heard a loud noise, and the whole house collapsed and was destroyed.

Little children, do you listen to the story every week, do you live according to it? If not, at least listen to the words of Jesus from now on and decide to live according to it. Only then will you be as strong as a house built on rock. If you listen to the scripture every week, take it in one ear and leave it in the other, receive chocolates and biscuits and eat them, your life will become like a house built on sand, when problems, difficulties, and failures come, you will get tired, and you will just want to stay cool O.k. Let's kneel down and pray.
