Proclaiming the Good News

"…But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life” - John 4:14

There was an orphan boy in Canada. He was suffering without food and clothes. A pastor was taking care of him. One day he gave the boy some tracts and say said, "Jesus Christ loves you." Give all these to those who you see and come. Come before darkness falls. The boy also gave them. He had only one tract. He was waiting to give it to someone. Then he saw a house. He kept knocking on the door of that house. There was a woman in that house. She had no one. She was lonely and depressed and decided to commit suicide. At that time, the boy kept knocking on that door.

She came angrily and opened the door. Then the boy said with a beautiful smile, "Mom, Jesus Christ loves you very much," and gave the tract and ran away. She also closed the door and started reading what was written on the tract. It was written that you should come to church to know that Jesus Christ loves you. The girl gave up the idea of suicide. The next day, she happily went to church and testified that she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour.

The good news that came through that boy saved a life and led to salvation. Similarly, in John 4: 6 - 30, Jesus Christ spoke to the Samaritan woman and told her all about her problems and told her that the one who was talking to her was the Messiah. She also ran happily to her village and told all about Jesus Christ. She led that village to salvation. Similarly, we should not keep the good things that the Lord has done for us to ourselves but tell our neighbours. We need to lead people to salvation by telling them that Jesus is good and that His love is unconditional. To do this, we will ask God to give us the wise tongue . We will tell the good news.
