GOOD MEDICINE

"Blessed be God, Who has not turned away my prayer, Nor His mercy from me!" - Psalm 66:20

Prabhu, who is studying in the eighth grade, always has a sad face. He cries while going to school, during break time, and even during playtime. There is no joy on his face. Some people call him cry Prabhu. That too makes him sad. My dear children! When someone is suffering, you should speak in a comforting way. You should not say words which makes them sad, okay, little ones.

The games period came. Everyone was playing games. Only Prabhu was sitting under the tree sadly. His classmate Ravi saw Prabhu and called him, "Why are you always sad? Let's play." No, he said, "You go and play." Ravi quickly went and told P.T sir that Prabhu was crying. Sir came towards the tree. He wiped his tears and sat next to him. He spoke to him with kind words. Prabhu started telling the reason for his pain in his heart. Sir, our father drinks alcohol daily and beats me and my mother. He doesn't give us any money, my mother is also very sick, sir, I don't want to go home and cried. If you keep crying like this, nothing will happen, I will give you a medicine, use it and it will be fine. Prabhu's eyes widened when he saw Prabhu who said, "Tell me, sir, I will give it to our father right away." He told Prabhu a medicine called "Prayer" and he eagerly asked. Prabhu went home and used that medicine.

It started working in a few days. He came to school with a smiling face. Looking at P.T sir, he said that the medicine you told is a super medicine, sir. He said that he should use it every day and left. At night, Prabhu was praying for his father with tears. When he came to eat after praying, his father was crying. Son, I have never sought God, I saw you praying for me for so long. Your prayers have changed me. Prabhu and mother were happy when they heard that father said that he would not drink anymore. They started using the medicine called family prayer continuously. The fragrance of happiness and peace started to waft. My dear children! You too may be worried, my father is drinking and living in poverty! Are you sad because you have a debt problem? Try using the medicine called prayer, a miracle that you cannot imagine will happen.
