Whom shall i send?
"…Here am I! Send me" - Isaiah 6:8
A seventeen-year-old boy was suffering from tuberculosis and was abandoned by doctors. He came to the point where there was no way to survive anymore, it was death. Various people like neighbours and nearby villagers came to see this youth. All of them lamented that he was fighting death every day at young age when he should have lived. In this situation a little girl went to meet the boy with a new Testament in her hand. She tried to give the young man a new Testament by saying that Jesus can cure any disease that doctors have given up on. But he never bought it. After four days like this, on the fifth day the girl gave the new Testament. As soon as the boy bought the New Testament, he threw it away. Days passed. He picked up the New Testament lying in the corner of the house and read it. It contained Jesus' miracle and loving teaching. Reading it gave him comfort and peace. Immediately he fell on his knees and prayed to be healed and received a miracle. That young man is the father of South Korea's awakening, Paul Yanggi Cho. He is no more. He died a few years ago. At the time of his death the number of believers in his congregation was 8,30,000.
Moses was chosen by God to lead the people of Israel. But when God called him, he said, Lord, will you send whoever you want to send. But the Lord did not let Moses go. The Lord led the people of Israel through Moses who made excuses.
The Lord decreed such a great salvation with a little girl. The Lord knows only the one who is strong and humble. The Lord will do the use anyone who he chooses to proclaim his gospel. But we should not make excuses for him. Let us evangelize all those to whom we are inspired to go and tell of His love. Let's not say get someone to do your job. He is ready to work with us when we commit ourselves to Him ask him to lead us to his people He wants! Who knows, the person you evangelize may be the one who sows the Revival of the Indian nation!
