Serve the Lord

"You ... do the work of an evangelist, fulfil your ministry" - 2 Timothy 4:5

Jesus Christ's last great command before ascending to heaven was, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel"! God has entrusted us, His children, with ministry that He did not give to angels. "You are not qualified to serve, but it will not be fruitful, you cannot do it," the devil will spread many lies. Beloved! Our worthiness is from God. If we start evangelizing with love, faith, and prayer for God and souls, it is not us, but the Holy Spirit who will work with us. Let's see the results for sure!

A witness. A well-to-do merchant, who is serious about the bussiness, comes to our house from Erode. He often shares his problems and ailments with us. One day I gave a tract. Then I prayed. After two years, he came to our house and happily said, "After reading the tract, I have come to know that your God is the real one. I have great peace in my soul. I have stopped going to my temples." A soul was won for Jesus! Alleluia!

Another witness is that whenever an elderly pagan woman came to our house to take alms, I preached the gospel and taught her to say small prayers. Within a few weeks, many miracles happened in the life of the woman who soon accepted Jesus, and she got a place to stay in a Christian old age home through someone. God's grace is great!

Beloved! Knowing that your efforts in the Lord will be rewarded, you will be firm, immovable and ever increasing in the work of the Lord. (1 Cor 15 : 58) Dedicate yourself right now to evangelize where you are, with the lyrics, "For you, bear me up for service."
