What are you traveling towards?

"...and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us" – Hebrews 12:1

The life of those two teenagers was very sweet in childhood. As they grow older, emptiness settles in them. When they resented the emptiness of adolescence and went straight for suicide in love of solitude, they were given the right opportunity, at the right time. And that is the good news, that is, they were told. “Jesus loves you,” They left the suicide attempt and looked to Jesus and walked on the right path. But only one youth sold himself to worldly pleasures again and again. He lived very wickedly. Both were given only one chance. But a young man wandered away from Jesus who looked up to him and entered into a corrupt life.

In the Bible a father has two sons, the elder and the younger. The younger man, along with his friends, took all his father's possessions, went to a distant land and led a very wicked life, destroying all his possessions. He was eager to fill his stomach with the gluttony that pigs eat. No one gave it to him. When the younger son came to his senses, he said to his father that I am not worthy to be called your son anymore confessing all the sins he has committed. The father accepted his son who came towards him.

People of God who are reading this! Puberty is the most wonderful gift given by God to every human being. Life is a garden. To give fragrance to that garden, Jesus must come into our hearts. No matter what sin we have committed, even as we read this, let us look to Him and shine. He is the one who makes our life shine. Let's look to Him in the given times and finish our race victoriously instead of living as "Our own desire - our own way".
