Dog character

"As a dog returns to his own vomit, So a fool repeats his folly..." - Proverbs 26:11

A common perception is that the dog is grateful. But the Holy Bible tells us not to be dog-like in nature. Because a dog eats what it vomit. In the same way, the scriptures say in 2 Peter 2:20 that if those who have escaped the filthiness of the world through the knowledge of knowing Jesus Christ who is the Lord and Saviour are again caught in them and overcome, their background will be corrupt in the presence.

I know a brother. He was a seeker of the Lord from his childhood. He worked enthusiastically in all the things that serve the Lord like prayer, reading the scriptures, going to the church. God had also given him good talents. But as days went by he enjoyed worldly pleasures along with his friends. Prayer and reading of scriptures decreased. Didn't go to the church. The holy life is defiled. No peace of mind. He has become wicked. He hit over his father on the head to death. Later, he too died due to mental disorder.

In the Holy Bible, Jesus Christ made Judas one of the twelve disciples. With him he cast out devils from people and cured diseases. But he got caught up in materialism and betrayed Jesus who had done miracles in his life. In the end his situation was very miserable ie he died in a worst manner.

Dear people of God who are reading this, Jesus Christ has redeemed us from the impurities of the world and saved us with His precious blood shed on the cross. We must walk with a thankful heart, guarding that grace. And we don't want a heart that turns away from the Lord for worldly desires like Judas did. Just as a dog goes back to eat what it has vomit, we know that "this is unclean and the Lord does not want it" and if we continue to do the same, our condition will be very miserable. So my dear people of God, let us be careful.
