After life

"She has done what she could;…" - Mark 14:8

Scotland has given many missionaries to the world. One of them is Robert Singhalier. His father was a blacksmith. As a youth he was forced to work as a blacksmith from the age of 14 to 17 to support his family. While working, he involved himself in church affairs and came to India after accepting the call to serve. He started his ministry in Nagercoil area. Schools for boys and girls were started in the area. He is a great sculptor. He was more interested in art. The splendid Marthandam church built by him is proof of this. Being the friend of the people and their spiritual father, Robert Singhalier completed the project given to him smoothly and brilliantly. He is not alive today. But the things he did, and his actions are enough for people to attain salvation even today.

During the days when the Lord Jesus lived on earth, he came to the house of Simon, who was a leper in Bethany, a woman brought a white stone jar containing precious ointment called perfume and broke it and poured the ointment on his head. Then some grumbled at that. They grumbled saying that this ointment can be sold for more than 300 rupees and given to the poor. Then the Lord said about her, "She has done good to me."

Dear reading this! What happens to the life of the woman who broke the ointment, and we talk about her till today? It has been said by the Lord that wherever this incident is preached about this woman, her deeds will also be told in order to remember her. We are given one life by Jesus. Before we end living it, we must complete our course by doing things that glorify God's name. Lord! He will surely help us when we ask him to help me to get rid of worldly attachment and work for him. Dear! Are you still doing things that speak volumes of you later life?
