Unity

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” - Psalm 133:1

In one farmer’s house, there were rat, hen, cat and goat. That farmer said, “Since the number of rats was increased, that must be destroyed. For that, I will buy one trap to catch the rat.” Immediately, rat went to hen and talked about this and asked for help. That hen said, “I cannot help you.” Rat went to goat. That goat said, “Even though I am a pet, I am allowed inside the house rarely. You are always inside the house playing all the time. So, you deserve this.” That rat asked help from the cat. That cat said, “It is not possible for me to catch you. At least, he may do this good job.” That farmer bought the trap and kept ready. Since the cat was not able to catch the rat, he sent that cat to the forest. When the daughter of that farmer put her fingers in to that trap unknowingly, her finger was caught with a sound and she screamed. Father came quickly. Since the finger of the daughter was caught, bleeding was more. He brought her to a doctor. Doctor advised to have chicken in the food. That hen was cooked. After the healing, he arranged one thanks giving meeting. For that he cooked that goat. That rat thought, “If they helped me, they all might be survived. Now I, alone, am surviving.”

In the Bible, four friends of a paralytic, who was in the bed and not able to do anything, decided to bring him to Jesus. For that they thought so much and decided to carry him with his bed. But they were not able to go near Jesus. Even then, they did not give up and decided to go up on the roof and by uncovering the roof, they decided to let down the bed before Jesus. Jesus saw the faith of those four friends and healed him.

Dear friend, who is reading this! How are you with people near your living place and with your co-workers in your work place? Are you with unity? Are you without bitterness and hate and with forgiveness and tolerance? If you live as above, your co-workers, co-students and relatives and all will come quickly to help you. You also will live peacefully. There is one worldly sentence – “United we stand”. Bible says, “How good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” We shall live with unity with all and shall get goodness and happiness.
