Might that strengthen me 

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” - Philippians 4:13

I am preaching for the past twenty years in the Lord’s ministry. Our organization’s leading brother asked me to preach in the evening meeting on 9th March 2021. This was a great challenge before me. The reason was, my wife was weak in her body because of disease and was in ICU in the hospital for 79 days and 12 days in the house for treatment. At last, in spite of our, all out efforts, she went into the Lord’s presence and was buried on 8th March. 

In midst of this, on March 9th, I preached Lord’s words with power for more than one hour in the meeting where more than 500 people were assembled. When so many sorrows and tears in my eyes, as unwanted guest, were there, I preached “God is faithful, by whom you were called.” At the end of the meeting, many talked with me. One person asked me astonishingly, “How could you preach today?” I said, “All because of His grace and power only.”

When Paul wrote to Timothy, he said “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race.” Paul had met many rough challenges, within which he was not weakened and challenge us with victory. Moreover, when he wrote to Corinthians, wrote as “Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” In Christian life, there are unthinkable struggles and challenges, put before us. Even then, victory is ours. So, depend on the grace of our Lord. Smash the challenges.
