The God who changes captivity

"Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the LORD bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad" - Psalm 14:7

In this worldly life, we are troubled by various troubles and sufferings, wondering when these sufferings will end. Every suffering is seen as a captivity. For the elderly, the captivity of illness, for those who are helpless, the captivity of insecurity, for parents, the disobedience of children is seen as a captivity. For teenagers, there are many captivities, the captivity of addiction to alcohol and drugs. There are countless people who are trapped in captivity due to the internet applications on their mobile phones, such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, and many others. Separations between husband and wife, confusions, and many other problems make it impossible to live together are also in captivity. We can keep saying that it is a captivity of how to manage children's education, marriage, etc. without debt. How to get rid of these? What is the solution to these? Only the Lord can change these captivities.

Joseph was in captivity in Egypt for 13 years. Would God leave him like that? No, he changed his captivity at the right time and raised him to be an official of that country, next to Pharaoh. He raised him at the right time. That requires patience and trust in the Lord. Look at Job, because of Satan's trail it destroyed all his wealth in one day; all his 10 children died in one day. How much terrible pain and captivity did he have to endure? Not only that, but his whole body was covered with boils, and he was scratching it with a tile. His wife also cursed his God and urged him to take out his life. Job was in an unbearable captivity. However, the captivity and suffering were only for a few days. After the days of testing were over, God blessed Job twice as much as he had earlier. David was also being chased by Saul for many years. However, the Lord did not hand David over to Saul. God, who changed David’s captivity, raised David to be king over all Israel.

Dear brothers and sisters! Are you also in captivity? Family problems, children’s education, married life, fear of the future? any captivity can be changed by God. “He brought me into a spacious place and rescued me because he was pleased with me”. Psalm 18:19
