The Lord Who Travels with You

"...I will be with you," he said” - Genesis 31:3

Once I was tired because of the demands and pressures of ministry. I thought I should not implement any new projects anymore. Then God spoke to me. When a synagogue leader named Jairus prayed for his daughter, I travelled with him and met his needs. When you pray for thousands of young people, will I not travel with you? Will I not meet your needs? He spoke. Immediately my fatigue was gone, and I was encouraged.

In Mark 5, the synagogue leader Jairus came to Jesus and said that his daughter was at the point of death, and that you should come and lay your hands on her, and she will live. Immediately, Jesus Christ agrees to go with Jairus. On the way, he performs a miracle for a woman who is in great pain, and the journey is interrupted for a while. However, Jairus is determined that Jesus Christ is coming with me. He is courageous in his determination that he will do what he said. While the journey is delayed, the news comes that his daughter has died. Then Jesus looks at Jairus and says to him, "Have faith," and goes to Jairus' house. He raises his daughter back to life.

Who in the world today will travel with us? Who will believe in us? But Jesus is eager to travel with us. When he travels with us, patience, love, and love for others will arise. We will be more concerned about the affairs of others than our own. And our faith will increase. All these things came into Jairus in the few hours that Jairus travelled with Jesus. Do we, who call ourselves Christians today, have the experience of traveling with Jesus? Are you traveling with Jesus on your life's journey? So, do you see the lack and need of others before your eyes? Jairus is waiting patiently, knowing the need of the woman in great need. Pray for others at the feet of God for the needs of others.

The Lord who travelled with Jairus who prayed for his daughter, will also travel with you and meet your needs when you pray for many young people and ministries.
