Immovable human bridge

"You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ" - 2 Timothy 2:3

French King Napoleon tried to cross a river with his troops. Bridges was destroyed. So they planned to build a temporary bridge. Some went down into the river and stood on holding poles on to the planks and wires, and made a makeshift bridge. The troops crossed the river. Napoleon ordered the men standing in the river to come up holding the pillars. No one came up because they froze to death in the cold. Napoleon also shed tears. His warriors gave their lives for the king of the dying kingdom.

Who are we? Warriors of King Jesus Christ, King of God, Lord of God. Jesus Christ became a sin offering for us, resurrected on the third day, appeared to his disciples for 40 days, and when he ascended into heaven, the command he gave was, "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." . Yes, we must commit ourselves to fulfil what He has commanded us. Shouldn't we be willing to suffer for his work?

Beloved, to what extent do we obey this command of the King of Kings? Are we working to spread the kingdom of God? Do we have concern for the souls who fall into the trap of Satan and perish? Do we encourage youths who are traveling on the path of sin to lead straight to heaven, and those who fear God to live more deeply in the Lord as the scripture says, "Let him who is holy be more holy"? Are we willing to suffer harm for Jesus Christ as a good soldier? Or do we want a comfortable life? Think about it!
