FILL UP

"which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all" – Ephesians 1:23 

During our school days, a question will come to fill the blank space in the question paper. They will provide a small line to write the answer in it. Just write a word and the space will be filled. If that space is filled, then the sentence will be complete. This is how God fills everything with everything. He has filled us in our place. When we err or deviate from this, God removes us from that place. When we go against God's will, He immediately fills that place with someone else. That is, Saul disobeys God and makes God repent. Immediately God pushes him away from the kingship. Seeking to fill the position with someone else, he chooses David. Saul anoints David to fill the void.

Similarly, Vashti refuses to come when the king invites him to a feast. For disobeying the king, she is removed from her royal position. The most beautiful women in the province are invited to fill the place. In its Esther is chosen and filled Vashti’s place. This place is not a place for Esther's beauty, status, and knowledge. It means you may be pushed or filled by someone else.

So let us read the scriptures given to us, pray and stand firm in our relationship with God and be careful with the fear of the Lord. If we have this thought in us, pride, arrogance, and carelessness we will not arise. Let's be careful. Let us abide in the Lord.
