The Carrying Father

"As a man carries his child…" - Deuteronomy 1:31

Raju had immense love for his daughter. The reason was that his wife died when his daughter was born! So when Raju went to work, he would take his daughter with him. Raju took great care of everything, from feeding the child to taking care of every need of the child. When the age to go to school approached, he enrolled her in school. Unexpectedly, one day, while returning from school, an accident occurred and her daughter's leg was severely injured. Seeing this, the father was shocked. Despite all the medical care, the child could not walk. However, the father kept his mental anguish within himself and visited the doctor every day for advice. He carried his child everywhere. Above all, he always looked after his daughter happily.

Like this father, God carried the people of Israel in the Bible. He freed the people of Israel, who were slaves in the land of Egypt. He appointed Moses as their leader and led them through the wilderness. They lacked nothing in food, clothing, or shelter. Yet, the people repeatedly tested God, the Father who carried them. They disobeyed Him and failed to believe in the One who carried them so lovingly. Because of their unbelief, they could not enter the Promised Land of Canaan, a blessing from Heaven.

My dear ones, our Heavenly Father chose us in our mother's womb and carries us forever. We often forget the God who carries us, but He is the God who protects us day and night without sleeping, and He never forgets us, we are always on His mind. We should not hurt such a God but be grateful. Let us remain faithful to the Father who guides and carries us through every stage of life.
