Worshipful Altar

"The Lord is the great God, and the King of all gods” - Psalm 95:3

The Bible divides our worship of God into two categories. 1. Wasteful worship (Matthew 15:8, Isaiah 29:13) 2. Wise worship. (Romans 12: 1) It is wise to offer ourselves as a living sacrifice and worship! Exalting and praising the Lord, giving thanks and presenting offerings on the altar is also worship! Today we are going to talk about how to pray. If our worship is not wise worship, let us repair the altar of worship in the coming times! 

1.We must offer the soul, body, and spirit as a living sacrifice to God. What's that mean? We must submit to God's will in all things.We must offer ourselves, the works of the flesh, to be burned up by God. 

2. We should come before His presence with praise. We should offer sacrifices of thanksgiving. (Psalm 95:2) (Psalm 100:4)

3. We should worship with holy adornment. (Psalm 29:2) We should also examine ourselves and confess our sins. We should truly repent of our sins.

4. We should worship in spirit and in truth. (John 4:23, 24) With the awareness that me and the Spirit, we should not scatter our thoughts, but let our spirit unite with the Spirit of God in all parts of worship.

5. We should worship God acceptably with fear and reverence. (Hebrews 12:28)

6. We should offer our gifts with thanksgiving and prayer.

7. We must humble ourselves and exalt God. He is Almighty. We can do nothing without Him. We are unworthy to worship Him, the Most Holy One. We are unfaithful and changeable. We must think about and worship Him and remember that He is faithful and unchanging.

Send out thy light and thy truth: Let them lead me; Let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles. Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy (Psalm 43: 3, 4). Let us pray and worship wisely at the altar of our worship.
