Want a Miracle?

"...he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down" - 1 Kings 18:30

In the early days of Pastor Paul Yonggi Cho's ministry, he felt like a failure one Sunday because he did not feel God’s guidance and presence during the service. The songs, the worship, the testimonies, and the sermon were all lacking in flavor. The pastor was very sad. After the service, everyone left. The pastor did not want to go home. He stayed in the church.. Then a man with a hunchback came into the church to pray to the pastor. The pastor was not in the mood to pray. The pastor prayed because he was sorry and asked. There was no change. This made the pastor very depressed. He went straight to the altar. He humbled himself before the Lord and prayed with tears. Then he felt the Holy Spirit fill him with power. When he prayed again for the man with a hunchback, he stood up straight at that moment and received complete healing. The three thieves who were hiding in the temple were watching. When they saw this miracle, they trembled and gave their lives to the Lord. Yes, when the pastor gave his heart to the Lord to repair, miracles happened.

Similarly, in the Bible, in 1 Kings 18, Elijah repairs the altar of the Lord that had been torn down. Then the miracle of fire coming down from heaven takes place. When the people there saw it, they shouted, “The Lord is God, the Lord is God.” The nation turned to the Lord.

Yes, beloved! When we correct the shortcomings in our lives, such as prayer life, Bible reading, and relationship with God, God will surely do a miracle. Through that miracle, the Gentiles will surely realize that the Lord is God. The Lord who did miracles with Elijah and Paul Yonggi Cho can also do miracles with you. Amen.
