Bala and the Horse

"Surely there is an end; your hope will not be in vain" - Proverbs 23:18

Bala was raised as an only child by his parents. His father worked far away, so he would come home only once a year. Whenever he came, he would buy him everything he needed. Until he came and returned, it was his only celebration.

Years passed and Bala grew up and became a young man. All the young men of his age had horses. It was a source of pride for them. Bala also wanted to ride a horse. He sent a message to his father. He was eagerly waiting for his father to buy a horse soon. One day, his father's close friend stood in front of his house on a horse. Immediately, Bala thought, "Wow! My father has bought me a horse and sent me." He said, "Brother, you must come and stay with me for a month." Bala also thought that he was taking him to buy a horse for himself, so he went with him. He took him to a big place and told him to run fast, then he told him to run with the horse. He ran like this for a week without understanding anything. He taught him how to mix medicine for a broken bone, how to treat a muscle spasm, what to do for a poison bite, and how to use it at what time. Bala's anger reached its peak. However, he endured everything for the horse. The next morning, he sent him home empty-handed, saying that everything was done. Bala returned home disappointed with grief. Since then, he has not slept properly.

A few days later, he came out with his eyes closed after hearing the sound of a horse neighing. The man who came could not bear the surprise. There, his father was standing with a tall white Arabian horse. He ran and hugged his father. Why didn't you buy this for me right away, why did you delay and make me suffer? Immediately, father said , you asked for an ordinary horse, but I wanted to buy a high-class horse. So I sent my friend to train you. Now if I give you the horse, you will manage it on your own. He said that I have delayed so long for you to get training.

Dear brother and sister! Like Bala, we often think that we should get it as soon as we ask. We hold back. But Jesus knows what to give and when. He will give it to us at the right time. Until then, we have to wait. O.K ?
