Merciful God

"Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy" - Matthew 5:7

An America teenager was doing door-to-door delivery business part-time to pay for his studies, because he was born in a poor family. One day he became very tired and hungry because of his wanderings, when his goods did not sell; He knocked on the door of a house and a woman came. He asked her for water, and seeing his tired face, the woman gave him a cup of milk instead of water. The hungry boy eagerly bought it and drank it. He said to the woman, I owe you a debt of gratitude. The girl smiled and said it's okay take care of your body. The young man who remembered the kindness and hospitality of strange girl, did not forget the woman who helped him.

The boy studied hard and became a doctor. One day he recognized a woman who came to his clinic. He decided to treat the woman for her long illness. The woman got better after a long treatment. The woman thought that the doctor would ask for a huge amount. But the doctor put the bill for the treatment on the envelope and signed it as paid by Dr. Howard Kelly (A cup of milk). Then the woman looked at him in surprise and the doctor remembered the old incident. Tears welled up in the woman's eyes. The scriptures say that the good we do has a reward in this world and the next.

1. The Apostle:- Acts 9:36-42 For the good that the Apostle had done, the Apostle was given a new life. The one who showed mercy received mercy.

2. 2. The widow of Saraibad:- The Lord helped the whole family to see good things for long days, just like the good she did to the prophet Elijah. The widow of Sararipad who appreciated the mercy received mercy with the family. Jesus says that whatever you did for one of the least of these, you did for me. Let us do good to others like the Good Samaritan. Let us record our deeds in the heavenly book of remembrance. To God be the glory. Amen!
