“…our eyes look to the Lord our God, Until He has mercy on us.” – Psalm 123:2

Jehoshaphat king of Judah led the life of righteousness in the Lord. God commanded him to destroy the altar of Baal and teach the people the word of God (scripture). In his reign Moabites and Ammonites gathered in mass against the province and nation of Judah and they were marching against Judah for battle, Jehoshaphat declared the people of Judah to unite for fasting. And he went to the temple and offered compassionately the prayer. “O our God, for we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You”, they offered supplication of prayer to God. At that time the spirit of God descended upon the Levite who was in the midst of the people and said, “Do not be afraid…for the battle is not yours, but Mine. You stand still and see My deliverance and salvation to you.” Thus, the enemies had returned with enmity against to each other troops and were killed and Judah had a big victory celebration.

See, Jehoshaphat was a big king and from children to elders and big personalities all gathered together and confessed the ability and fear to God and prayed in the midst of congregation, “our eyes only look upon the Lord” and God answered his prayer. You readers of this, you may have big problems that are rising against you, you may fear what will happen to you. Like Jehoshaphat confess your inability and look upon Jesus alone. Commit to God, yourself and surrounded problems around you. You will see God fights for you.

Dear ones! As children of God for every small, small thing without relaying any man and self-strength for his help/favor let us learn to relay upon God. There will be no greater life of blessing without relying upon God for favor. Every day you will see the miracles. You will see the mountainous high-level problems disappearing like mist/fog. You will feel everyday war is led by God. Yes, God who spoke to Jehoshaphat will talk to you even today. “Do not be afraid nor dismayed, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.”
