Shame

“Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God made coats of skin, and clothed them” - Genesis 3:21

We can see people with mental illness haven't dressed properly on the streets. If they were given clothes out of kindness they don't wear it. Let us pray for these people. Proper dress shows the mentality of a man. So shame is a display of a mind in good mentality. 

Now let us turn our mind to different portion. We have seen some prisoners in TV. They can be categorized into two based on how they behave when they are taken to the court. First category will cover their face with a handkerchief or their shirt. The other will waive their hand with a smile proudly as if they did something for the betterment of human beings. There is lot of difference between these two people. First category accepted their mistake and covered their face in shame. There are chances for this people to be good. The second category isn’t ashamed of their mistake. "A society filled with these type of people is in a pitiful state", is what the author of "Deliver us from Evil" says. 

Nowadays not only in cinema and TV, dressing to show skin is considered fashion. If we sit back and think, what difference do these people and mentally ill people who can't dress properly have? Let us pray for the shameless society around us to find the cloth of salvation.
